Almost most people do not know the difference between Fitness and Body Building. When we tell a person “you need to lift weights to strengthen your muscles”, they reply “I don't want to bulk up, I don't want to gain volume”. This perception is present in most of the people we try to direct to weight training. Or, when interpreting a training program, some people come up with answers such as “this is not how weight training works”.
For this reason, in this topic, we will explain the differences between Fitness and Body Building, which is a misconception.
We are faced with two concepts that everyone usually confuses with each other. Fitness; We can define it as sports activities that include various sports branches and appropriate nutrition programs to stay healthy, fit, fit, strong and fit. The main principle in fitness is to improve one's quality of life. It creates more dynamic, energetic, tireless, feeling good, self-confident, durable individuals during the day.
In Body Building, on the other hand, as the name suggests, it is a sport that is based on improving the body and is based on getting bigger, harder and higher weight. In bodybuilding, your nutrition is higher, your needs are higher. It is quite common for a bodybuilder to eat 4-5 meals a day and take 30-50 grams of protein at each meal. Because there is no limit to growth for a bodybuilder. In fitness, on the other hand, height and weight balance is generally observed and aesthetics are given importance. More fit and aesthetic looks are targeted.
Fitness or Bodybuilding?
The choice of this depends entirely on the individual. It depends on your goals, aspirations and dreams. However, we can only give you direction when making this decision, what do you want? Is it a way that includes a balance of height and kg, which is fit and has clear lines but not large (muscles pressed, so to speak), or is it to have high muscle masses with weights that are higher than the last 2 digits of your larger and larger height?
Tastes and colors are indisputable, of course, but I cannot pass without underlining that the fitness sector is more trendy.
